Claire Wolff, 25, is inspiring the children of St. Louis!
At just 21, Claire was teaching kids photography skills, but was discouraged by the lack of job opportunities they were met with after graduation.
She decided to open up a coffee and sandwich shop with help from Washington University in St. Louis and Kaldi’s, a local coffee company. Five neighborhood kids work at the shop, now called the Urban Studio Cafe, and hosts classes and workshops on printmaking, nutrition, and financial literacy.
These kids are learning valuable communication and creativity skills that they’ll carry with them forever!
Check out The UrbanStudio Cafe Blog and read about the workshops that Claire holds, as well as the yummy coffee and sandwiches on the menu. She really cares about the kids and customers!
